The Capri Hotel - Ojai

The room was beautifully decorated on the first level, had peaceful experience. The location was ideal and peaceful because it was short walk to restrants in day time in about 15-20mins, the shops and restaurants within walking distance and many restaurants;)))

The pool was small but nice. Rooms were spare but clean

The "owner" who worked at the front desk was rude. The continental breakfast and coffee were not available until after 8 am on a summer . weekend even though we were told it would be earlier. When we complained the "owner" told us he would have it available when he chose to. There was only enough coffee in the room for one small cup, and was not replenished, even though there were two of us. The lighting in the room and over the bathoom sink was very very dim.

The room was very clean; however,The air condition was nosy and didn't work well.We had only one tv clicker instead of two.

The super cool and fabulous staff all round. Nice room with an exceptionally comfortable bed.

Shower head didn't stay up, pool wasn't heated enough, no hooks on the doors, funky stuff in my nightstand.

Bathroom door needed paint repair and the toilet caulking and hinges needed repair. Bed linens didn't seem clean.

Love this Motel-retro, cool, great location, great beds, huge green grassy yard with patios, friendly check-in, and reasonable snacks in room!

The location was lovely - Ojai was not somewhere I was planning to go but i was in Santa Barbara and looking for a last minute place to stay - Booked.net brought this up. It's a very nice, motel style hotel - quite modern and funky and there's the pool area which is great. Friendly staff - made it personal - and great breakfast. Wish I'd stayed longer actually!

The lobby had such a cool vibe. We loved our beautiful room with the patio. It was spacious and perfect for our family of four. The kids had fun in the huge enclosed patio and the pool area was fantastic. We especially liked the breakfast with fresh pastries and waffles. Everything was so close by!

The value, the staff and the room design. The general relaxed atmosphere of staff and guests is a real winning combination for a hotel.

Some distinct housekeeping issues. Lack of attention to details

The staff was amazingly friendly--just lovely people. The beds were super comfy, and there were tons of pillows. It was nice and quiet. There were plenty of breakfast items that my daughter liked.

The paint was peeling over the shower, and a big chip on the bathroom wall showed the previous color. There was only one bar stool in the in-room eating area. A group of three pictures on the wall were hung at slightly different levels. The room did give a fresh and modern first impression, but attention to detail holds the place back a bit. They put every light on a motion-detector--that means that you will be in the dark half-way through your shower. Also, I wanted to leave one light on, possibly in the bathroom, for my little one. That was not possible. All in all, I would still stay at the Capri again.

The pool area was perfect for my two sons. They loved lounging on the floaties while we enjoyed drinks by the beautifully done poolside. The spacious room with an outdoor patio was amazing, giving us a great spot to unwind together.

In my wife's opinion, a few more kids' activities would have been great to keep them entertained .

We loved the room decor and pools! Very funky, modern decor and beautiful pool with nice cabannas for swimming and relaxing. We also loved the private patio space on the back of our room.

The room could have been a little cleaner, specifically the sheets. The location is okay, but is on the eastern edge of town.
